A focus on mechanics-free interactive controls
- Since the company was founded in 2002, H2i has focused nearly all of its R & D efforts on developing and refining its Whaptics Touchless Touch technology.
- Whaptics was protected by four patents filed in 2005 and 2006.
- Two core Whaptics technology solutions were developed: Whaptics for detecting finger position on surfaces; and WhapticsT for detecting finger or hand position through infrared-transparent surfaces and in the air.
